Classic Seany Boy

Jenn and I took Sean to Dr. Bravo yesterday for a health exam. Dr. Bravo is Sean and Amber doctor since birth. Good thing is Sean checked out well.

Funny thing is his ability to grab the literal understanding of a verbal message. When Dr. Bravo was conducting his warm up session while beginning the exam, he asked Sean "Sean, stand on one foot." Sean briefly paused and stepped forward on top of Dr. Bravo's one foot. Dr. Bravo then said, with a laugh in his voice, "good job Sean you did what I told you to do." Then Dr. Bravo said, "Sean just lift one foot."

This was simply a very classic Sean trait and we love him for it!

Jenn the fish slayer

Painful to admit but my wife is the fish killer in the family. Again, she bested me two weekends in a row...
Great day on the water. Brendan, Jenn, Amber, and Seany at 6:30 out of Port San Luis. Conditions were perfect and lots of fish in the water. Total of 4 Halibuts landed and 1 gopher cod. Jenn bagged the only legal on the boat at approximately 26". You would not believe the yield her fish had after the filet time. Bob and his fish pal in the other boat brought in 3 legals. Brendan had a bomber on the edge of the boat but spooked and broke the line and dove down. Yep - the one that got away...

Brendan with nothing but net...!

Great time had by all. Seany's Gulp shrimp smell was the trick in addition to the live bait size. Really love this time together and the new rod and reel was a treat.

Brendan's gopher rock fish - small but very tasty little buggers.

Time for a sharp knife - One very fat Halibut. Great job wifey!

Ceche Pescado

Run up the coast out of Morro Bay approximately 10 miles just above China Cove and the Abalone Farm. Second time on Rudy's ocean liner and it was great. 2 legal ling cods, 1 dogfish, and an assortment of rock fish including olives and blues.

The crew shaking out the secret spots or simply guessing...? This'l do...

Locked and loaded. The hunt is on!

Yours truly with a barely legal ling say an inch over or 25".

Rudy's fish and an inch or so bigger than mine. Figures!

Cool Run.
