It's Sunday evening and I feel compelled to record Thanksgiving 2009. This is a family blog of course and that is good reason enough to record. I believe it goes deep and beyond the normal reasons to blog and share. God's word (presented in Pastor Tim's sermon today) reminds us - give thanks in all circumstances. I love the way today's worship service ended - God commands our thanks because who He is and because what He has done in Jesus Christ. This is the gospel at it's core!!! I give thanks for the transforming power of this gift.
