2008 Amgen Tour of California Blog

Thought you cyclists might enjoy a blog I came across several months ago called the 2008 Amgen our of California Blog http://2008atoc.blogspot.com/2008/02/blog-post_3275.html.

The blogger is one of the race directors for the tour and offerred some great inside coverage and commentary from a different perspective. To my delight, he wrote a post called Rock Stars which gave some complimentary feedback on the support of Moto Marshalls in the race which included none other than my dear old dad. Very cool.

See the enclosed group photo and look to the middle.

Presidential Physical Fitness Award

Amber presented some great news today and received the Presidential Physical Fitness Award for partipating the program at her school.

She placed in the top 3 in a total of 3 of 4 events out in a class of 15. She placed 1st in Sit Ups, 3rd in 50 yard dash, and 3rd in the Chin Up Hold. Way to go Amberito!

Blessed to see the joy in Amber in these results.

Sean and Jeff 40 Years - Part One

For those who were there, this is old hat. It is nonetheless very classic. Get some popcorn and enjoy the clip of some great memories. It's a long one, but be patient all the way to the end, it helps you reflect the real joy of family and friends. Big thanks to Da Wifey for making this masterpiece.

Part Two will tell you about the our big gift and the Tour of Cali.

Warning - Another Blog

This thing starts today!

After you read a few posts, you will likely understand why I received the nickname Da Mayor over the years. Not because I like politics or such things, but because of my God given ability to talk and to anyone for that matter. I don't believe (dearly hope) I'm the kind of talker that gets on your nerves, but somebody who simply has something to share. It comes from constant life experience and the simple fact that I want to share it. This blog may reveal fears, surprises, joy, family tales, boyhood tales, endeavors, and many other life interests. I also hope to leave a family history for our children and family to enjoy. Sorry in advance, you will hear a lot about Cycling and everything related to it.

There is one thing I wish to share more importantly than anything and it's sharing the Gospel and how Gods sweet grace changes lives and in particular ours...

Here we go!
